Montgomery County SPCA

The love for animals is a beautiful feeling that is shared by all Kindergarteners. So, with that being said, it did not take much for us to agree to join the other Kindergarten class to an SPCA tour. Last week we all got the chance to pay a visit to the Montgomery County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The Montgomery County SPCA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to caring for lost, abused or unwanted domestic animals.  Of their three locations, we visited the Conshohocken site on Ridge Pike. The Humane Educator, Steven Conway, was our tour guide and he had a wealth of information to share with us as he toured us around the facility. All the doggies and kitties were sooooooo friendly. There were also some rabbits, hamsters, birds, and guinea pigs. Wow! We all wanted to bring back one.  At the end, it sure was hard to say good-bye.
