To celebrate this glorious international environmental
event, the Kindergarteners organized a parade. First, we talked about the different ways we can make a positive impact in our
environment...as a group and as an individual. Then all Kindergarteners decorated
their own poster with a special message for our Earth. We then walked through the school singing some songs dedicated to our beautiful Earth. It was an insprirng and joyous parade!!
And, on Monday we took our signs and magnificent voices and paraded
all through campus from the Early Childhood Commons to the Upper School Student
Street. Even Rich Nourie, our Head of
School, joined in on this festivity and provided his own musical addition. Ask us to sing the “Earth Day Is Every Day”
song. We would be delighted to sing it for you.
