100th Day of School!!!

We had a very exciting day filled with counting! We made a paper chain with 100 links, a plastic chain with 100 links, a 100 Magnatile design, a snack with 100 edible pieces, 100 unifix cubes divided into 10 groups of 10, and 100 unifix cubes divided into 50 groups of 2! Each child grouped their 100 items from home into 10 sets of 10 and numbered the groups. The children enjoyed admiring the work of their peers as they perused our "100's Museum". We also prcticed counting out loud by 5's and 10's to 100.

We reflected on how great it is that we have shared 100 moments of silence together, and how we have learned so much during our 100 days of kindergarten!
